Happy Halloween!

Today is not only Halloween it is also my Grandma B's and brother Jason's birthdays! Jason lives in Colorado Springs so we haven't celebrated with him for quite some time, but this year was a special on for Grandma....she is celebrating 80yrs!

We had a wonderful party at the church this afternoon with all of her children and most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. There were decorations everywhere and a big birthday cake (the first one G'ma has ever had, she always got pumpkin pie in years past). She gave a heartfelt speech , we sang "Happy Birthday" and she opened her gifts. I had a hard time deciding what to get her...she has lots of clothes and she has said that she is running out of wall space in her condo...so I got her a dozen orange roses! Who doesn' t like to get flowers?!?!?

It was so much fun to see everyone in their costumes and to watch the kids run and play in their cute little costumes.

It was a great party! We all had a great time together--Laura (Alice in Wonderland), me as the Cheshire Cat and Joel as the Mad Hatter and all the other various princesses, lions, leopards, ninjas, pirates, sports fans, fairies, cowgirls, a nun and priest, the Big Bad Wolfe and little Red Riding Hood, a Ute fan, tatooed rocker, Bat Girl, witches, ballerinas, etc.
