2. Did you car pool to school? No, well going home I would. I rode the bus in the morning and then Kimmi would give me a ride home in the afternoon.

Thanksgiving
Happy Turkey Day! I love this time of year, so many holidays and so many opportunities to be with family! This year was a weird quiet one. Usually I fly to Colorado Springs to be with Jason and Becki and their kidlettes, but that wasn't possible this year. Annnnd Rachie and Doug are all the way in Buffalo NY : ( So it was me, Mom, Dad, Hy, Anne, Sophie, and Aundrea (she's from Peru and goes to BYU) We had a fabulous dinner and all of us got to see Sophia crawl! She learned in Vegas visiting her G'ma and G'pa Kingsley.
I wanted to take a nap, but was forced to play games...whatcha gonna do, especially when there is a guest. After Lunch and games we went to see the movie "Australia" it was pretty good, I would recommend seeing it. Hyrum sacrificed and stayed home to put baby to bed so they were the only ones not present.
My Dad took some pics w/ his camera so I'll see what I can do about getting some posted on here.

Paradise Cafe

Mindy decided that all the girls in the family needed to get together for dinner at the Paradise Cafe in Sandy. It was so much fun to see everyone last night! We sat in the cafe and talked for almost 2 hrs. There was one boy that was allowed, Mindy brought little Cooper. He is such a doll!
As we all gave our hugs and said our goodbyes we decided we need to do these things more often. I really hope we do.

And the winner is.....
John McCain concedes and Barack Obama steps in as the President Elect. This was not what I wanted but, he will be the President in 2009 and I pray that he will have the Lord's Spirit with him as he learns and grows in his new leadership position and that he will be well protected as he serves the people who elected him.

God Bless America!!!!
This morning I woke up a little anxious for the future state of our great Nation. As I ate my breakfast I watched the news and the coverage gave me more determination to brave the crowds and make my voice heard. Surprisingly I was in and out of the fire station in about 5 minutes and am proudly displaying my "I Voted" sticker.
Today is a day that all should participate no matter what your political affiliation (betcha can't tell who I voted for) Our country gives us the right to make choices and to make our voices heard! Use your voice; I'm especially proud, as a woman, to do just that. Women in this country did not receive the right to cast their ballots until 1920 when the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was passed.
