After church Doug had a meeting so Rach took me to see downtown Buffalo and the waterfront...it's always so pleasant by water.
After lunch we carved our pumpkins. It was hilarious, Doug was placing newspaper on the ground and Gavin just laid down on the papers like it was a blankie and settled in.

After the pumpkins were done we ate a delicious roast dinner and then headed to the airport...it was so hard to say goodbye to everyone. Rach reminded me that it's only 7 weeks until they come home for Christmas and that's just like a hair appointment away.

You may think I was silly for giving that analogy, but didn't it seem to help? It did for me. :) And now it's only a little over 3 weeks! Wahoo!
