I love summer rain storms! Class was almost over and all of a sudden a huge roll of thunder shook the building and I knew it was gonna be a gusher! There is just something about watching the lightning and smelling the rain during the summer.

I agree with you - it was fun listening to the first summer rain storm. I love the picture of Gene Kelly you used to illustrate your point. A classic pic for a classic summer moment.
I love the smell of rain, I wish there was a perfume that could capture the freshness of rain! Love the picture!
I so miss the awesome thunder/lightening storms in Idaho/Utah. We almost never get those storms in Alaska. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
